Have you ever wondered what Mariah Carey would do if she lost her voice? Or what Brooke Shields would do without her eyebrows? Check out the top 5 insured body parts for celebs (that’s according to our internet statisticians). Some may seem obvious, while others are just downright ridiculous!
Legs seem to be one of the biggest insured body parts. Heidi Klum is covered for a reported $2 million each leg, while Rihanna’s only insured hers for $1 million. Even Jamie Less Curtis is in the mix, with a $2.8 million policy and Tina Turner, that leggy never-going-to-age celeb, has a policy for $3.2 million. But women aren’t the only ones with these insured body parts.
Soccer stars David Beckham and Christiano Ronaldo are also covered (for $70 million and $14 million respectively). While that Riverdance god, Michael Flatley, has his stems covered for a cool $40 million.
And the highest coverage we’ve seen on legs? Mariah Carey is alleged to be covered for $1 BILLION. Yeah, with a B.
This one is almost demeaning. Not surprisingly, Dolly Parton has her bosoms insured for a measly $600,000 (I guess she’s not worried about her vocal cords) and former playboy bunny, Holly Madison, has them covered for $1 million.
Julia Roberts’ famous smile is insured for $30 million, while Aquafresh has America Ferrara’s teeth covered for $10 million. Got to keep those pearly whites protected!
Kylie Minogue has her behind insured for $5 million. The biggest booty policy, is not surprisingly, for Jennifer Lopez’ famous backside, which is insured for $300 million. We aren’t exactly sure what horrific accidents typically occur in this area, but these two ladies are covered nonetheless!
5). The Strange
It’s well known that Head and Shoulders insured Troy Polamalu’s luscious locks for $1 million. And speaking of hair, it’s rumored that Tom Jones has a $7 million policy covering his au naturel chest hair. While Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones has only his left, middle finger insured for $1.6 million. The loss of that digit would be mourned throughout the world!
Maybe not exactly strange (considering he does his own stunts), but actor Daniel Craig has insured his entire body for $9.8 million.
There you go! Celebs are just like us! Or not…
